The Hurst spirit was out in force in London last week at the first ever Foundation Ambassadors meet-up. Thirty members came together in central London to discuss the successes and future direction of the Hurst Foundation.
We were joined by Mr Kift and Mr and Mrs Leeper, who are thrilled to be involved with this new Hurst adventure. It was also an opportunity for them to reconnect with familiar faces from years gone by and learn more about their lives post-Hurst. Alumni (OJs) of all ages attended. It was an honour to have David Wakefield, 1950, Fleur-de-Lys share his experiences with our youngest guest, current Head Boy, Dylan Thomas.
Discussions throughout the evening were focussed on the Foundation’s three main activity streams; Connect, Collaborate, Celebrate. We’ve come away with lots of fabulous ideas, which we are excited to work on and share with you over the coming months. Photos from the evening are now available to view in the Gallery.
The Hurst Foundation is a community for anyone with a connection to Hurst. We look to our Ambassadors to help us promote the Foundation and its many activities.
The next Foundation Ambassadors meet- up will be in February 2020. It's a great way to get together and play an active part in our new community.
