On Saturday 15 February the OHJ Club held a dinner to celebrate the centenary of Cricket week .
Cricket week was founded in 1920 by OJ’s returning from the horrors WW1 who wanted to bring together former school mates for fellowship and to celebrate the English summer at Hurst.
Our cricket week has gone on uninterrupted from this time and today welcomes back OJ’s and their families and is annually the largest supported single event in our calendar.
Other schools started cricket weeks but many of these have withered over time, our great success at Hurst is that we have been a family friendly week.
It was a fabulous evening with 200 guests in attendance.
