Welcome to the home of the Hurstpierpoint College Old Johnian's Club
Know to all as The OJs, the club is the oldest continuously functioning school alumnus association in the UK, The Hurst Johnian Club was founded in 1877 and can trace its history back to the founding of Hurstpierpoint College in 1849. Every Hurst College alumnus now automatically becomes a member of The OJ Club.
The Club is governed by a volunteer committee which meets quarterly. Its aim is to encourage and support a broad church of interests from professional to social, sporting to historical and the arts appealing to OJ’s near and far from our youngest members to those well into mid-life and beyond.
The OJ Club is the largest and most active element of the Hurst Foundation, created in 2018 to connect, collaborate and celebrate with alumnae, past staff and parents.
I hope you like our new Website. It's come a long way in the last two years! It's a live document, a work in progress, so please do engage with me if you have any suggestions that would further improve it!
