This one is especially interesting for our community - it's a mortgage designed to help university students to buy a house and rent spare rooms to fellow students. The rental income is used to finance the mortgage! You may not even need a deposit.

You have to be between 18 and 30, in full-time education and have at lease a year left of your university course. Your parent/s will act as joint borrowers on the mortgage (but they won't own the property). The house must be within 10 miles of the campus.
