The Land Society

A very warm welcome to the Land Society

We are delighted to announce the relaunch of the College's Land Society, open to all members of the Hurst Foundation, whether parents, former parents, OJs or friends of the College community.

The purpose of the Society is to bring people together from the field of property, to foster a spirit of fellowship and provide opportunities to share experiences, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions on matters of interest.

Many existing members are or have been Chartered Surveyors, in major West End and provincial practices, the financial institutions and in smaller or more specialised firms. Many other members work in sectors associated with property – for example, in the financial sector, architectural practices, consultancy, business, estate agency, the academic world and the public sector. Some are at the very start of their careers, while others hold senior positions in their fields. Together, they form a diverse community united by their connection to Hurst.

Our aim is to provide high-quality networking opportunities, alongside enjoyable social events. Whether you are looking to reconnect or expand your professional network, the Land Society offers a welcoming space to do so.

Our first event will take place in 2026, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Society. We warmly encourage previous members to re-engage and invite others to join us, in what we hope will become, a vibrant network.
