The Law Society

A very warm welcome to the Law Society

We are delighted to announce the relaunch of the College’s Law Society, open to all members of the Hurst Foundation - parents, former parents, Old Johnians, and friends of the wider College community.

The Society exists to bring together those working in the legal profession, fostering fellowship and creating opportunities to share experiences, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions on topics of professional and public interest.

We encourage you to join if you are working in Chambers, city firms, regional practices, or specialist organisations as judges, barristers, solicitors, legal executives, or magistrates. Or perhaps you are involved in related fields such as academia, government, compliance, and corporate advisory work. You may be just beginning your career, or hold a senior position of responsibility. Whatever your role or experience, we hope to form a diverse and dynamic community united by their connection to Hurst.

The Society’s aim is to provide high‑quality networking opportunities alongside enjoyable social occasions. Whether you are seeking to reconnect with fellow alumni or broaden your professional network, the Law Society offers a welcoming space in which to do so.

Our first event will take place in 2026, marking the start of an exciting new chapter. We warmly encourage former members to re‑engage and invite new participants to join us, as we build what we hope will become a vibrant and enduring network.
