Your legacy. Their future.
Hurst began life in 1849 as St John's Middle Grammar School, a name it still carries today in the College Chapel, St John's. It is that name we have given to our legacy giving society, which recognises those who choose to leave a gift to Hurst in their will.
How your legacy gift will be used
A legacy gift becomes part of the endowment that supports bursaries for generations of pupils not yet arrived, many of whom will owe their place at Hurst entirely to gifts like this one. Whatever its size, it is a way of extending your own Hurst story into the future.

Membership of the St John's Society is a way of saying thank you during your lifetime, for a gift that will be felt long after it. Members receive an annual newsletter, a bespoke, handmade St John's Society lapel pin, an invitation to an annual dinner hosted by the Head of College, and an invitation to an annual lunch, where members hear about, and help shape, the College's strategic plans.
