Relsah Films is an independent production company dedicated to telling untold stories and founded in 2017 by award-winning filmmaker Elliott Hasler. We champion historically inspired narratives, authentic storytelling, and meaningful, high-quality filmmaking that leaves a lasting impact.

Our work includes the hit indie film Vindication Swim, the story of pioneering English Channel swimmer Mercedes Gleitze. Shot over the course of three years in the English Channel itself on a low-carbon ethos, the film was released theatrically in March 2024, breaking top 20 at the UK box office and playing in over 300 cinemas across an 18 week run. Vindication Swim was hailed be critics as "a truly epic independent film on a scale never seen before." 

Our first film, WWII: The Long Road Home, depicts the true story of Hasler's own great-grandfather's experiences as an escaped prisoner of war in WW2. Made whilst Hasler was still a teenager, between the ages of 14-16, the film was hailed by critics as "a miracle achievement for a schoolboy director. It went on to receive worldwide distribution, in 2024 landing a multi-territory deal with Paramount+ for the UK, France and Italy.
