The Walk up Wolstonbury - part of our 175th Anniversary celebrations

As part of Hurst's 175th Anniversary celebrations, alumni and parents joined pupils and staff for the annual tradition of walking up Wolstonbury Hill. Happily the weather was perfect and the Hurst community enjoyed the opportunity of a walk in the stunning countryside.

Pupils set off from the College in the usual House order accompanied by their House staff, with some 1100 in total taking part. This is, of course, a much beloved Hurst tradition and provided an opportunity for attendees to connect with one another while taking in the panoramic views of the South Downs.

The walk culminated in a Service at the summit of Wolstonbury Hill. A fitting tribute to Hurst College’s milestone anniversary, blending tradition with the beauty of the local landscape and the enduring spirit of the Hurst community.
