We’re incredibly proud to share that OJ Marcus Campopiano (Eagle - 2013) has been selected to represent Italy in the 2026 Cricket World Cup, following a thrilling qualifying campaign in July.

Italy faced off against the Netherlands, Scotland, Jersey, and Guernsey in a high-stakes tournament. With standout performances—including a blistering 50 off 22 balls from opener Emilio Gay and a nail-biting win over Scotland—Italy secured their place in the World Cup for the first time in history!

Marcus’s selection is a testament to his dedication, talent, and hard work, and we couldn’t be more excited to see him take the international stage. His journey from Hurst to the World Cup is an inspiration to our current pupils and fellow OJs alike.
