"It's good to see the old Boards and the cups we won in the late 1960s still on display. Our main rivals I think were Fleur de Lys and Martlet. The old layout as a boarding House had its charm and the Rooker was fun. Collecting the milk and buns for break was a challenge in gaining a few extras."

"I remember there being 2 dorms upstairs - seniors & juniors - and two day rooms downstairs with the "rooker" (prefects' study) in between. Yet there is still a board with my name on it, thought that had disappeared long ago. We were top of sport in those days and the shelf in senior dorm sagged under the weight of silver. Frank Florey was housemaster at my start succeeded by Ron Bawtree."
