"I was part of Phoenix when it opened in 2013 and looking back, I would say it really felt like a home away from home, despite it not being a boarding house. We were quite a small house in terms of numbers, so all the girls knew each other really well between year groups. Days were pretty packed at Hurst and so it was great to be able to come back to Phoenix and have a coffee with the girls whilst sitting on the windowsill overlooking the inner quad during our free time. I have plenty of fond memories from ice skating at Brighton Pavilion, house shout competitions and going for dinner at Mrs Higgins’ house with the year group. I feel so lucky to have been a part of Phoenix!"
