Foundation Burns Night 2027

Following a sell-out evening in 2026, Hurst parents are warmly invited to celebrate the life and legacy of Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns.

The evening begins with a sparkling drinks reception, followed by a traditional three-course Scottish dinner with wine. Our Ceilidh band, described by the Evening Standard as "the finest Ceilidh band", will then keep the dance floor busy until late. This year we are limiting numbers to 140 to give everyone more room to dance.

When: Saturday 23rd January 2027, 7pm to 11.30pm
Where: The Dining Hall, Hurstpierpoint College
Tickets: £80 per person, including drinks reception, three-course dinner and wine with dinner. A cash bar will also be available.
Dress code: Black tie, with an optional touch of tartan

This event is for adults only. Tables of 10 can be booked, and please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking. Bookings close on Friday 8th January 2027, and we will hold a waiting list once tickets have sold out.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations made before Sunday 3rd January 2027 will receive a full refund. After this date tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another guest at any time. Just let us know the new name.
