Senior School and SPS parents are warmly invited to a spectacular evening honouring the life and legacy of Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns.
Starting with a sparkling drinks reception, enjoy a delicious three-course traditional Scottish menu with wine, followed by lively entertainment and dancing with a top-rated Ceilidh band, voted “the finest Ceilidh band” by the Evening Standard.
The evening will also feature cherished Burns Night traditions:
Address to the Haggis – A dramatic recitation of Burns’ iconic poem celebrating Scotland’s national dish.
Toast to the Lassies – A humorous and heartfelt tribute to the women present, delivered in true Burns Night spirit.
Whether you're coming for the food, the fun, or the dancing, this promises to be a night to remember!
When & Where: 7:00PM - Midnight, Saturday 24th January in the Dining Hall, Hurst College
Cost: £60 inclusive of 3-course dinner, drinks reception and wine on table (cash bar for remainder of the evening)
Dress Code: Black tie with an optional touch of tartan
