This Friday and Saturday (19th & 20th of May) a 26-hour Music Marathon will be taking place at Hurst College in aid of Shine. Director of Drama, Luke Gasper will be joined by students and staff from the College as well as some special guest performers in a challenge which will see live music being played for the entirety of the event.
The clock will start running at 5pm on Friday 19th and over the 26 hours there will be a variety of concerts and workshops for anyone to join in with and attend. From musical sing-a-longs, rock bands, DJ sets to late-night jazz and early morning Bach, the New Bury Theatre at Hurst College will be the main stage for the event as well as others around the campus. A Finale Concert will start at 6pm on Saturday. There will be a cake stall, bar and sweet counter available throughout. A full line-up can be found using this link: Hurst Musicathon Lineup
Donations can be made via the JustGiving page or at the venues on the days themselves. We want to have as many people as possible attending and enjoying music-making for a very special cause. So come along, bring a friend and help us hit our target.
