The sunny weather made the 2011 Leavers' Reunion an absolute joy. It was early afternoon when the first OJs started to arrive and a welcome drink on the lawn by the New Pavilon was the perfect setting to start catching up with OJs and teachers alike..
Tim Jackson (Eagle) co-ordinated the event with Hurst Foundation and alumni were invited to bring partners, children and even dogs to the occasion!
After drinks and canapes Rob Kift, Director of Sport, took the OJs on a tour of the school with many commenting on how much it had changed and increased in size in just 11 years. A drink in the Common Room brought back plenty of memories for some and the hog roast was then enjoyed by all back at Eastfield.
All those who attended from far and wide (including Australia!) commented on a really enjoyable afternoon and an impromptu rounders game came to a close in time to head to the local pub for a couple of hours before closing.
