Hurst launches its 175th Anniversary bursary appeal

The Head of College, Dominic Mott, and the new Director of Foundation, Gareth Doodes, are working on developing a culture of philanthropy throughout the Hurst community.

In this hugely significant year for Hurst, the Foundation is looking to use the 175th Anniversary Dinner as an opportunity to launch a new Bursary campaign. The aim is to raise £175,000 during this anniversary year which will enable the school to provide one fully-funded place for a pupil entering Shell in September 2025 for five years.

On the night, Dominic and Gareth talked further about the Bursary and the Foundation, and explained how OJs and other members of the Hurst Foundation community those might be able to contribute towards this life changing opportunity for a young person to benefit from a Hurst education.
