On a beautifully sunny first Spring morning, the Shell and Remove Academic Scholars embarked on an inspiring trip Selwyn College, Cambridge. The purpose of this visit was to ignite a sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness within our Scholars, but also show them where a love of learning could take them. During their visit they bumped into two Hurst OJs, Fin Di Castiglione (Woodard - 2022) and Sanne Jenkins (Phoenix - 2024), who were happy to share their experiences of studying at Cambridge.
By the end of the visit, the enthusiasm for Cambridge had significantly increased. With initially, only two pupils expressing an interest in applying to Cambridge, by the end of the day, over thirty pupils raised their hands!
