Engage Bursary Campaign Celebration - London 22nd May 2025

Engage Bursary Campaign Launch: A Night to Remember

We were thrilled to welcome members of the Hurst Foundation community to the stunning rooftop terrace of Doggett’s Coat & Badge last week for the official launch of the Engage Bursary Campaign.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the River Thames and the London skyline, the evening was a celebration of connection, purpose, and opportunity. Guests enjoyed the premiere of the Engage campaign video (watch here), which featured powerful stories from bursary recipients whose lives have been transformed by a Hurst education.

Head of College, Dominic Mott, delivered a heartfelt address, sharing his deep commitment to expanding access to Hurst through bursaries. He highlighted the growing importance of financial support in light of recent changes to the taxation of independent school fees, which have made affordability a greater challenge for many families.

The event underscored the vital role bursaries play in ensuring Hurst remains accessible to a diverse and talented student body.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and supported the evening — and a special thank you to the OHJ Club for their generous sponsorship, which helped make the event such a success.

Here’s to many more evenings of inspiration, community, and making a difference — together.
