The Hurst Foundation is so delighted to have won the The Institute of Development Professionals in Education (IDPE) Schools Award for Ambition and Progress following the launch this last year of our new fundraising campaign at Hurstpierpoint College. We are proud to have been recognised for managing a successful operation, and raising substantial donations and pledges in a short space of time for bursaries and capital projects. Pledges for bursaries today now stand at £230,000.

This is a great testament to the work of Gareth, Leigh, Sue and everyone in the Hurst Foundation team and a reflection on the support from the Head of College, Dominic Mott, and other members of the Hurst community such as Rob Kift, Ian Pattison, Dianne Allison, Richard Taylor-West, Jan and Tim Leeper, Helena and Dan Higgins, Neil Matthews, Kate Bray, Lloyd Dannatt, Andrew Boon, members of the OJ Club including Ian Buckeridge, Nick Paddenburg ....the list is endless!

Our Director of Foundation, Gareth Doodes, has made a short video accepting the trophy on behalf of the Foundation Office, giving a special thank you to Hurst's benefactors who have made the award possible, which can be viewed on our Linkedin page
