As we celebrate 100 years of rugby at Hurst, we are delighted to share further details about our involvement in the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens, the world’s largest school rugby tournament. First held in 1939, the event has grown into a global showcase of schoolboy and schoolgirl rugby, attracting more than 15,000 players each year across multiple age groups.
This prestigious competition has long been a proving ground for talented young athletes, with many future internationals having played in the tournament during their school years.
Hurst Teams Competing in 2026
We are proud to confirm that Hurst will be taking the following teams to Rosslyn Park this year: U13 Boys, U14 Boys, U16 Boys, Senior Girls (U18), Senior Boys (U18).
Tournament Dates
The tournament will take place from Monday 23 March to Friday 27 March, with each age group competing on the following days as set out by the official schedule:

The tournament is played across the Richardson Evans Memorial Playing Fields (SW15 3PQ), which host all competitive fixtures for the event. Hurst is this year present with our own marquee to host and entertain our guests as we celebrate 100 Years of Rugby. The Marquee is located RE2. Please see check-out site map here
Parents, alumni & Foundation members are warmly encouraged to come and support our teams, enjoy the atmosphere, and visit the Hurst marquee, where we hope to welcome as many families, alumni and friends as possible throughout the week. If you would like to attend, please sign-up below letting us know which day(s) you will be attending, this will enable us to plan the number of potential visitors to our marquee.
Questions About Team Selection
Squad selection will take place the week before the Festival. If you have questions regarding whether your child is playing or what day they are competing, please contact the relevant lead age group coach directly, as they hold the most up‑to‑date information.
